The Satellites by Ranger

Hoodie, Bandit, K-Do, and MW, and I went there on a late December night. It was pretty cold especially on top and on the side of the dish. We had all started to climb the interior of the dish but realized that there was no access to the top of the dish from there. We climbed down from the ladder and walked outside to see if there was another ladder on the side of the dish. Sure enough there was, so we started to make the ascent. There were a bunch of landings which were on the side and they made me really anxious because I am not the biggest fan of heights however slowly but surely we made it to the top of the dish. Once on top we hung out for a little, the dish had been graffitied quite a bit. We made our way down and once on the ground we heard some commotion. We kinda got a little freaked out but we realized it was a few deer which made it's way into the field where the satellite dishes were. Deer are good omens so we all felt good about our adventure.

Fun in the Woods by Hoodie

Recently a few friends and I went up to a place in Sykesville which is pretty well visited. We ended up running into these preppy Abercrombie boys who tried to scare us with a fake gun. When we were leaving we saw them running around behind some bushes and We decided to have some fun with them. We drove up really fast and started yelling at them. I don't know if they stayed around, but I think I saw them taking off scared shitless.

My Satellite Story by M.W.

My favorite time was definitely climbing the satellite dish. That first ladder was frickin about 4 stories high, just to the first landing. and the dish was huuuge. Major adrenaline rush. Another rush was when the car pulled into that driveway. It was so cool to be in the structure that was once responsible for launching missiles. So much potential for destruction.

My Favorite Night by Bandit

I love being the first to do something in urban exploring, whether it's going to a place that nobody has been or being the first one into a building or room. It's a great rush, and the first night of actual exploring was fantastic. When I went into the Hospital through the open door, and having my first urban exploration experience, walking into a morgue, it was so intense and so much fun. It's something I won't forget.
